Locking Our Eyes on the God of Hope

“The ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” (Isaiah 51:11)

I believe the Lord is wanting to encourage those with heavy hearts, hearts that are tired and beginning to feel hopeless. He is the God of hope and joy. He is here with strength. The Lord wants to release joy and peace, despite the hard circumstances that many are facing (circumstances that don’t seem to make sense). He is the God who can and will make a way in the wilderness! Look to Him! Keep your eyes on God. He is going to make a way, even where there seems to be no way. Again, keep your eyes on Him!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

He is with you. He is for you. The Lord has come with healing in His wings. He will release beauty for ashes and make your crooked places straight. Trust Him. Fear not! The Lord God is with you!
