Let Hope Arise

I felt that the Lord wanted to encourage heavy, weary hearts that have become discouraged in the extended waiting process. Many have been contending and declaring breakthrough in circumstances for so long; they have seen little or no change. The enemy has come to many people, whispering to simply give up and to lose all hope, saying that things will never change.

These are lies!

Do not set yourself in agreement with the enemy! The devil is the father of lies. He wants you to focus on your circumstances, not what God is doing behind the scenes.

God has heard your cries; His ears are not deaf to your pleas and petitions. The Lord is good, and it is His good pleasure to give you His Kingdom. I feel the Lord is saying this today:

Expect to see My goodness manifest, regardless of what your eyes may see in the natural. I am a good, good Father, and I give good gifts to My children. If you ask me for bread I won’t give you a stone (Matthew 7:9-11). Keep thanking Me and praising Me for the answers; help is on the way. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Psalm 28:7). The Son of Righteousness is arising with healing in his wings. Those who wait upon the Lord will have renewed strength, He will mount you up with wings like eagles. You will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Let hope arise. Encourage yourself in Me; know that your best days are ahead of you. All of My promises are YES and AMEN. Set yourself – all of your thoughts, words, and actions – in agreement with My promises and My Word. I am for you, not against you, and I work all things together for good. Shake off all discouragement, fear, and hope deferred. I have such good things in store for you, My child. I can bring beauty from ashes, just have faith in My goodness.

Don’t be afraid to have hope and expect the very best from the Lord. You don’t have to know how the situation is going to play out, or exactly what God is going to do. Just look to Him continuously; trust Him and thank Him for the answers that He will bring. The Lord has heard your cry. He’s seen your tears, your faithfulness, and the heaviness of your heart. Lean into Him during this season. God loves you with a deep, unfathomable, never-ending love. He can take all of the broken, mismatched pieces and make a beautiful picture out of it all. He can – and will – set the things in your life back into order. Fear not; He has heard your plea and is even now working on your behalf. The Lord is faithful!

“He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:29-31

Restoration of Joy

“My soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation”
Psalm 35:9

I am healing hope deferred and restoring joy in My people. “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you” (Isaiah 55:12). Where many have been like the children of Israel, wandering in the wilderness for many years, I, the Lord, am bringing you out. In the places you have felt like living in survival mode, barely keeping your head above the waters, you will find those seasons changing swiftly!

You will go from surviving to thriving.

 “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”
John 10:10

You are arising even now, coming forth from the ashes stronger. Surely many will eat and partake of your fruit. By your fruit they will recognize you, as a good tree can only bear good fruit (Matthew 7:16-17). No longer will you have dry crumbs to offer, but you will give My true, living water. “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them” (John 7:38).

You’ll be a shade tree to many, and they will find lodging underneath your branches. Surely your pain has not been in vain. “Am I not the redeemer of all things?” (Joel 2:25) I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten. I am changing your season, says the Lord, and even now I will put a new song in your mouth!

“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him”
Psalm 40:3
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:19

My Holy Spirit does in moments what would take years in the natural to produce and change. You are a new creation in Me. It’s a new day; look not to the former things.

My word is alive and active, more powerful than any double-edged sword. “It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

Your God is mighty to heal, save, and deliver. I am transforming you from the inside out. Your steps will be lighter from now on. No longer will you feel your feet drag, nor will your head be low, declares the Lord! As it is written, “you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high” (Psalm 3:3).

I crown you with My goodness, faithfulness, and loving kindness. Surely I am doing a new thing in you. You will be a beacon of light, a hope to many. You will freely and generously give to others the joy I am releasing in you. The joy will be refreshing and contagious to those who hunger and thirst for it.

You will laugh again.

You will dance again.

You will have hope again.

You will arise from the ashes.

“You will tread upon the lion” (Psalm 91:13).

You will come forth with new strength, zeal, and vigor, for the JOY of the Lord is your strength!

“When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them. The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Restore our fortunes, LORD, like streams in the desert. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.”
Psalm 126:1-6

Healing For Troubled Relationships

I believe that God is desiring to heal and mend broken relationships. Many have been interceding and crying out in the secret place; know that your petitions are being heard. Trust Him, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5). His thoughts are not ours, neither are His ways similar to ours. They are higher and greater than any human understanding (Isaiah 55:8-9). Above all else, guard your heart so no offense may come. Love those who have wounded you. You may say, “I can’t do this in my own strength,” but the Lord’s strength is made perfect in your weakness, as you continue to look to the Lord and lean on Him!

I believe He will give you His heart of love and compassion for those who have hurt you, as you continue to cry out to Him. The Lord’s heart is pleased with your desire to love and forgive, in spite of the pain. He is the Healer and Mender of broken hearts. Trust in Him and the work He is doing within you!

The Treasure Within

You are a unique and rare treasure, set apart for God Himself. You will be “a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work” (2 Timothy 2:21).

God knows you and understands you even better than you know yourself. “He Himself bore our sicknesses, and He carried our pains …” (Isaiah 54:3). At times, man will misunderstand your heart and motives. Though this can be painful, stay on course and stick to the path that God has called you to. The Lord knows you fully and loves you completely. “… For man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).

You are such  a delight to your Father’s heart. You’re the apple of His eye; He loves you, even in your weakness. “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you” (Song of Solomon 4:7).

Keep shining for Him, walking in the unique and specific purposes that He’s called you to. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Nothing you have to give is too small when done as unto the Lord. “And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward” (Matthew 10:42).

He loves you so much. The Lord takes great delight in you. You’re a treasure – a child of the King. You’re far more valuable than rubies. “… The King is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your Lord” (Psalm 45:11).

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

The Power of Praise

“Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”

Isaiah 35:3-4

God is our refuge and strength,The Lord’s heart for compassion is present among us. He wants to encourage those today dealing with an increased sense of anxiety and stress, those with a feeling of dread which may even be resulting through physical symptoms in your body (restlessness in the night, inability to sleep, feelings of borderline panic, etc). God’s heart is for you; what you are experiencing is not your inheritance or portion as a child of the King! The Lord loves you more than the world He created or the stars He placed in the galaxy. He is fighting on your behalf; He is your refuge and strength, an ever present help in times of need.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Come and see what the Lord has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.
He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields with fire.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Psalm 46:1-11

Continue to praise Him, even in the midst of your difficulty, regardless of how you feel. Even if it seems like everything is falling apart, as you praise Him chains will break! The door to the prison cell that the enemy is trying to keep you in will fling wide open, just as with Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25-26).

The Lord takes great delight in you; He inhabits the praise of His people. “Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord … wait upon the Lord.” His strength, joy, and peace will arise in you as you open your mouth and declare His goodness with praise! The enemy is a toothless lion, and he cannot harm you. You are protected by the living God!

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

Psalm 91

Anxiety will break off of you as you press into Him, and joy will be abundant! For weeping may last for the night, but joy – His true, everlasting joy – will come in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

You Are Not Alone

I am the God who knows and I am the God who sees. Even before you form a word on your tongue, I know it completely. I have enclosed you behind and before, and I have laid my hand upon you. Such knowledge is too wonderful to comprehend (Psalm 139:4-6). I understand you better than you even understand yourself.

Don’t despise your weakness, precious child. My heart is completely for you! I love you with an everlasting love. I’ve seen the difficult path that you’ve had to walk. I’ve seen how many times you’ve stumbled and fallen. I’ve also witnessed you faithfully get back up, time and time again. You have kept moving forward, amidst the pain and suffering, one step at a time. You have trusted me, even when you did not understand. I tell you again, I am so proud of you and how you have kept your heart soft and pliable toward Me.

I cherish your vulnerability, crying to Me in the secret place throughout times of extreme testing and adversity. Keep asking Me to help you, guide you, and give you the strength to keep going. I have been with you all along, My dear beloved. Never once have I ever left your side, nor will I ever! Truly I am a Friend that sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24).

Those who hope in Me will not be disappointed. Stand up and lift up your head, because your redemption is drawing near (Luke 21:28). You will soon see victory on every front. Am I not the God who parted the Red Sea, the One who made way in the wilderness? I can and will make a way for you where there seems to be no way. I am with you, and you are not alone.

Warrior, Arise!

The Lord put this on my heart this morning…

You can face anything or anyone because I love you! Let that sink down to your innermost being. My love for you is deep. My love for you is wide. My love for you is furious and my love covers you! You do not have to shrink back in the face of adverse circumstances or people. Whether man approves of you or not, it makes no difference! I am bringing you to a place in your life where you are so rooted and grounded in My perfect love for you that you will become fearless in the days ahead. You are My warrior and I take great delight in you! You will begin to laugh in the face of the enemy and in the midst of adverse circumstances. I am showing you that your joy is found solely in Me. Like the eagle, you will soar above life’s storms. You are safe with Me, My beloved. Though you feel weak, you are being made stronger. I am shaping and molding you into all that I desire you to be. Your trials are becoming your teacher and they will benefit you greatly. Nothing has been lost that I cannot restore. I am taking what use to be a stumbling block and turning it into a stepping stone. Just watch what I will do in and through you. You will benefit greatly from this wilderness season as you continue to lean into Me and embrace all that I am doing. Refiners fire: you are being purified like the gold. I have been preserving you all along and I am calling you forth for “such a time as this!” You are being made stronger, and truly your best days are just ahead!
