Victory March

You are an overcomer! I am giving you the spirit and tenacity of Joshua and Caleb. They looked at the land and did not focus on the giants – instead they set their eyes on the victory ahead, saying, “we can take this land!” They were not intimidated by the giants or the obstacles, but they already saw the victory that had been set before them.

Similarly, you will no longer look at the obstacles and “enemies” in your life that are attempting to wear you down and defeat you. You will see with new eyes. Faith is beginning to rise on the inside of you even now! What once intimidated you and overwhelmed you will do so no more. You’ll march into the enemy’s camp and take back what he has stolen from you.

You will receive double for your trouble. “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours” (Isaiah 61:7). Even now, I am preparing a table of feasting in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5).

You will laugh your way through the winds of adversity, for My joy is truly going to be your strength. In these days you will come to know Me as Jehovah-Jireh, your provider, and Jehovah-Rophi, your healer.

You will mount up with wings like eagles, you will walk and not faint. You will find that your prayers being answered quickly in this season, for those who call upon the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13). I am your all sufficient One! Lean into and press into Me. It is a new day and a season of new beginnings. The best is yet to come!

Trust Me in the Storm

Have I not taken care of you all your life? Will I not continue to do so? Know that I have loved you with an everlasting love; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

I’m carrying you now through the storm. Yes, the waves are high and fear seems to be surrounding, but know that you’re safe and secure in My loving grip.

Trust in my character and My goodness while you are walking through the dark. I will light your path as you continue to trust in me. Cling to My hand. I will not fail you. You can trust in your good, good Father.

Purpose in the Pain

“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you may participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and God rests on you” (1 Peter 4:12-14).

If you’ve felt dismayed, overwhelmed, and perplexed at the intensity of the battle as of lately, know that God has you in His grip and that you’re not going under! Though the fire may seem seven times hotter, He is there with you and He is preserving you. His plans and purposes for your life and future will surely come about. These testings and trials are actually making you stronger and molding you into all he desires you to be. Even as a diamond must undergo intense pressure and heat to be formed, so it is with us. Through this intensity and pain, something beautiful and precious is being formed. Yield to the process.

There is great purpose in the pain. He is training an preparing us for something greater and bigger than ourselves. Don’t lose heart! He loves you, and is working all things together for his good. He makes beautiful things out of the dust!

“Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge” (Psalm 144 1-2).
