Grace to Love Deeply

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” | Matthew 5:43-44

Do not be surprised by the fiery darts that seem to have come against you, for you wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Be rest assured that you are highly protected and highly favored by MeNever take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord (Romans 12:19).

I give grace to the humble, but resists the proud (James 4:6). Resist the urge to defend yourself when false accusations and assumptions are made against you. Allow Me to be your Defender and your Vindicator. My Son made Himself of no reputation; He was despised and rejected of men (Isaiah 53:3). In the same way, when you are percuted for My sake, rejoice, for great will be your reward in heaven (Matthew 5:11-12). By loving and blessing those who speak out against you, you are, in turn, advancing My Kingdom.

I am enlarging your capacity to love on a deeper and greater level. It is easy to love those who do good to you, but as you pour out and sow into those who are more difficult to love, you are bringing Me glory. I will honor you as you grow in maturity and begin to step out in love.

I am conforming you into My image and likeness, and the world will know you by your love (John 13:35).
