He Alone Is Your Firm Foundation!

I waited patiently for the Lordhe turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him. | Psalm 40:1-3

In the midst of the shaking, continue to keep your eyes on the Lord. Do not look to the wind and the waves, for He alone is your firm foundation. As you remain anchored to the Rock of your salvation, abiding in Him, you will find safety and security. For many, the fire has seemed to burn more hot than ever before. The enemy has been taunting you, saying, “You are going under,” but Jesus reminds us that Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44). The truth is, you are being promoted; through the stretching, God is expanding your territory and enlarging your tents so that you may carry more (Isaiah 54:2).

Continue to give the Lord a sacrifice of praise, even amidst the difficulty. In Acts 16, we are reminded of Paul and Silas being cast into prison. “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose” (Acts 16:25-26). As you worship the Faithful One, shackles will fall and chains will be broken, just as it was when Paul and Silas praised God in the prison cell.

Know that the Lord is very near to you; the Word of God is in your mouth and in your heart (Deuteronomy 30:14). Trust Him, even if you feel pressed on every side. Even when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace, they were not alone. They were accompanied by a fourth Man, One who blazed as bright as the fire (Daniel 3:25). That fourth Man – Jesus Christ – stands beside you as you walk through the flame. The Lord is establishing you, and you will come out of this fire without smelling like smoke.

I have a strong sense that enemy has attempted to cause fear and intimidation in God’s people, especially against those whom the Lord is raising up as a prophetic voice in this hour. Satan is trying to shut you down, but prophets of God, keep speaking the truth in love. Release the pure words that God gives to you. Every tongue that rises against you in judgement, He will refute (Isaiah 54:17). The bride of Christ needs willing vessels to pour into her; refuse to hide in the caves, for the Lord is vindicating you!

Where the enemy has sought to overwhelm you with fear and anxiety, the Lord is saying, “Peace! Be Still!”  Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident. One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord And to meditate in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord (Psalm 27:3-6).

In His goodness, the good Father is going to overwhelm the very circumstances that want to overwhelm you. As you continue to cling to Jesus, He will impart supernatural peace and strength to you (Philippians 4:7).

The Lord your God is with you, He is the mighty warrior who fights for you. Your Defender is rising on the scene even now. Be at peace and rest in your Father’s arms. He is in control! I believe that His heart of compassion desires to encourage you, “Rest in Me, your victory is assured! I am rising on the scene, defeating your enemies. Though you have fallen, you will rise. Though you sit in darkness, I will be your light” (Micah 7:8).

Continue to move out in the spirit of grace towards those who oppose and persecute you. Keep your heart pure, for vengeance is the Lord’s (Romans 12:19). The enemy is seeking to ensnare many in the trap off offense so that he can shut down the breaker anointing that is operating through them. People of God, keep your hearts pure and your vessels clean, as love covers a multitude of sins (Proverbs 10:12). Strength will rise as you wait upon the Lord and continue to make Him your delight.

We serve a faithful God! Keep your eyes fixed upon the Lord and continue to press deeper into Him during this season. You will soon see a divine turnaround and a victory on every front! “Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord” (Exodus 14:13).

Trust God in the Process: He is Establishing You!

At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” | Hebrews 12:26-29

The Lord has been continually highlighting the vulnerability that His people are feeling during this season of transition. I believe we are living in a time where everything that can be shaken is being shaken. Yet once again, I hear the Father’s reassuring words: “Trust Me in everything; trust Me in the transition and in the shaking. Trust that the process I have you in will establish your roots so that you may go deeper with Me.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8).

God is showing us in this season that He alone is our anchor. Though the winds blow and the storm rages around us, we have nothing to fear. As we continue to trust and abide in the Father, we are greatly protected.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart … (Psalm 91:1-4).

I hear the Father say, “Continue to look to Me as your All Sufficient One. Do not look to the left or to the right, My beloved. Keep your eyes on Me in the midst of transitioning relationships, world events, and the great stretching you are feeling. Know that you are being enlarged to carry more; I am creating new wine skins out of you. Continue to trust in Me, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). I will open up the way before you and keep you in My perfect peace as you fix your eyes upon me (Isaiah 26:3).

“Keep moving forward and walk boldly into all that I have called you to do. Do not be distracted by those who may or may not be following you, nor seek the praises and affirmation of man. Let pleasing Me become your number one priority. Promotion does not come from the north or south, but comes from Me (Psalm 75:6-7). I am well pleased with you, and I will supply you with everything that you need; you will lack nothing. No good thing will I withhold from those whose walk is blameless (Psalm 84:11). I will equip you to walk forward into all that I have prepared for you.

“Now is not the time to shrink back, beloved. Rather walk forward boldly, hand in hand with Me. I will continue to lead and guide you down this new path. I have said, obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22). My Word will be a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path (Psalm 119:105). Continue to run your race well and stay faithful to your calling, no matter how small or large the task that I ask of you may be. Do not grow weary in well doing, for you shall surely reap. Soon, everywhere you look, you will see an abundant harvest. Keep your eyes on the prize. Rejoice at how far we have come together, and know that I am—and will be—faithful to fulfill the promises I have spoken over you.”

The Seas Are Parting

On a recent morning, as I was worshiping the Lord and singing “King of Glory,” I received a picture of a sea parting. I was then reminded of when Moses and the Israelites came upon the Red Sea. It seemed as if there was no way to escape Pharaoh and his Egyptian army. Yet, the Lord made a way for His people. “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left” (Exodus 14:20-21).

I sense that the Lord is wanting to encourage weary hearts that have been facing ongoing, trying circumstances; these circumstances have not seemed to have let up, but rather it has felt as though they’ve been intensified. Be encouraged. The King of Glory is arising on your behalf. He will part the sea for you. Circumstances that have refused to bow to the name of Jesus will now bow! Shout in victory, O people! God is now making a way where there had seemed to be no way.

Transitioning Into the New

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. | Isaiah 43:19

Trust Me in this time of transition, even if it feels like chaos. Do not fear the change and repositioning that is taking place, for even out of disorder will come My divine order and rearrangement. Even as a baby is pushed and squeezed through the narrow, uncomfortable birth canal, they come out into a place where new life and light is all around. I will bring you out of this tight, confined space. You are currently passing through; I will bring you into an open space (Psalm 18:19), which will be a place of freedom!

As uncomfortable as the process of transition is, know that you are indeed moving forward and coming to the other side. You may feel vulnerable right now, but I tell you, you are growing and advancing. I am shoring you up, healing old wounds of the past. Do not be afraid of what is being brought to the surface, nor resist what is being brought into the light. I am cleaning out the old to make way for the new. Allow the deep work of My Spirit to take place in you, My beloved. I am doing a great work in you, despite the pain that you may feel. What used to confine and hinder you will do so no longer, as I bring closure and healing to the wounds of past seasons.

Rejoice at the great work that I am doing in you! A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world (John 16:21). You, too, will have that same joy, and everywhere you will look, you shall see new life abound.

A Call for Prayer and Intercession

“I will stand at My watch and station Myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to Me” | Habakkuk 2:1

While you are truly living in a day in which evil is being called good and good is being called evil (Isaiah 5:20), as My ambassadors, I have equipped you with everything that you need to live victoriously and fight the good fight. Have I not said in My Word the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome? (John 1:5). For in these days, as the darkness becomes more dark, the light of My church will shine even brighter.

I have once said that, “the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps” (Matthew 25:1-4). I am calling forth My intercessors, the ones who carry oil with their lamps. Watch and pray like the wise virgins; hear the call of your Bridegroom!

I am calling you to pray for those in authority over your schools, cities, and nation. My heart is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8); and I will never change. Abraham pleaded with Me to spare the city of Sodom if I found ten righteous people, and I said that I would do so. The same is true today as you intercede and stand in the gap on behalf of your cities and your nation. I urge you to intercede for this upcoming election, for there is much in the balance. Know that your prayers availeth much (James 5:16), and that I will honor your prayers and your faith. Do not underestimate the power of your words! Speak life, speak hope; call forth Heaven to invade Earth, even in what seems to be impossible circumstances. I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27)

While you are indeed living in turbulent times, My Bride is entering into her finest hour. I have a remnant, set aside for such a time as this, that I am calling forth in this very hour. Shake off complacency and the things that would so easily seek to entangle you. My Beloved, My Church, it is time to unleash your sword; it is time to invade the darkness!

I am calling forth My Bride to awake from her slumber. “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” (Ephesians 5:14). The harvest is ripe; there are souls in the balance. I am calling you forward to love the unlovely, to bind up the broken hearted, and to be My hands and feet to a lost and dying generation.

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter — when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here am I” (Isaiah 58:6-9).

I am calling you to be bold and fearless in these days. Have I not said fear not, for I am with you, even to the end of the age? (Isaiah 41:10, Matthew 28:20).  For “you are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14-16). Go forward boldly and show My love. Heal the sick, restore the lost and broken, point them to the Light of the world. You carry the Answer; the Light of the world dwells within you.

I am calling forth My watchmen on the walls; I am raising up My intercessors. Will you answer the call?

Promotion, Acceleration, and Greater Revelation

Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. | Isaiah 54:2-3

You are being promoted, as you have entered into a new season of favor and acceleration. I am going to open up to you what has previously been hidden. I will give to you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places (Isaiah 45:3), for you are known as one who has searched out the deep things of My spirit. For deep calls to deep in the roar of My waterfalls; all My waves and breakers have swept over you (Psalm 42:7). Wave after wave and splashes of My glory will wash over you, refreshing you as you go deeper with Me.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. The keys that I give you will open that which had previously been shut for whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19).

I am bringing you into a deep place of rest. You will be able to accomplish more by doing less, because I am going to bless and prosper all that you put your hand to. Continue to abide in Me, the Vine.

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills, and I will bring my people Israel back from exile. They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God (Amos 9:13-15).

You will have eyes to see and ears to hear what My spirit is saying. This will be a season of “walking on the water,” seeing signs and wonders manifest. This is a great season of jubilee and replevin: a time where that which has been taken away will be restored.

I am increasing the breaker anointing on your life. You will be one who binds up the broken hearted and sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). You will dance on injustice! Don’t shrink back, but walk forward with My confidence into all that I am calling you to.
