The Seas Are Parting

On a recent morning, as I was worshiping the Lord and singing “King of Glory,” I received a picture of a sea parting. I was then reminded of when Moses and the Israelites came upon the Red Sea. It seemed as if there was no way to escape Pharaoh and his Egyptian army. Yet, the Lord made a way for His people. “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left” (Exodus 14:20-21).

I sense that the Lord is wanting to encourage weary hearts that have been facing ongoing, trying circumstances; these circumstances have not seemed to have let up, but rather it has felt as though they’ve been intensified. Be encouraged. The King of Glory is arising on your behalf. He will part the sea for you. Circumstances that have refused to bow to the name of Jesus will now bow! Shout in victory, O people! God is now making a way where there had seemed to be no way.

  1. I SO needed this today! Thank you! The Lord frequently reminds me that He parted the sea when the Israelites were backed into a corner. Please pray for my family. We need God’s intervention and help right now!
