A Season of Increase and Multiplication

The disciples said to Him, “Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?” And Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few small fish.” And He directed the people to sit down on the ground; and He took the seven loaves and the fish; and giving thanks, He broke them and started giving them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. And they all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, seven large baskets full. And those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children. | Matthew 15:33-39

While reading the story of Jesus feeding the four thousand, I heard the Lord ask the question, “What’s in your hands?” I believe that the Lord wants to encourage us in this hour, as we are about to enter into a season of supernatural abundance, multiplication, and increase.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and always (Hebrews 13:8). Just as Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed the large crowd, we, too, will watch as He does the miraculous in our very lives when we give him what is in our hands. This can look different for every individual, however, I feel that the Lord is saying, “As you offer up to Me your gifts, resources, and talents, watch as I multiply it! I will use what you have to further My Kingdom. Do not look at the areas in which you are lacking, but look at what I have already placed in your hands. Offer it up to Me, and watch what I will do with it.”

I also felt the Lord’s encouragement for those who have given Him their “yes.” He is saying today, “There are those who have said yes to Me with child-like faith. They have said yes to My will and My calling for their life, not even fully knowing what they are committing to. I am so pleased with you, My beloved, and how you have postured yourself in a place of humility and obedience, surrendering to Me and the purposes that I have for your life. Watch what I do with your ‘yes,'” says the Lord!

Your faith and trust greatly pleases the Father. The Lord wants to say to you today, “Great and unexpected surprises are up ahead. Continue to journey with Me into the unknown.” Assuredly, He will not fail you; He is faithful and will lead, guide, and provide for you all that you need for the journey. Continue to trust in the Lord, and allow Him to lead you into the new, one step at a time. His grace is sufficient for you, and His strength is made perfect in weakness.

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

God is raising up many pioneers in this hour. Pioneers: the Lord is with you. He is directing your steps and lighting up the path before you. Many will come behind you and reap where you have faithfully sown and broken up the hard ground. God is honoring and strengthening you in this hour; do not grow weary in well doing, for in due season you will reap (Galatians 6:9).

We are truly in a season of increase, favor, and supernatural multiplication. Continue to give God your “yes,” and seek Him on what He would have you release back unto him. Then, watch! He will surely multiply it for His glory.
