“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”

The onslaught of heaviness has been a relentless battle for many, leaving you feeling discouraged. However, the Lord says, “Even in the midst of this attack, lift your voice and praise Me; hope deferred is breaking, for this is truly going to be a season in which your heart’s highest desires will be fulfilled.” Do not listen to the lies of the enemy, the whispers that you have somehow missed God’s timing. The truth is that you are right on target!
The enemy is terrified at the magnitude of the breakthrough that is getting ready to be released upon you, and because of this, he is striving even harder to discourage you. He wants you to lay down your sword in defeat. Mighty men and women of valor, rise up in the strength of the Lord. Shout your praise and release the goodness of God over each situation in your life. Your praise will break the spirit of heaviness that has tried to immobilize you for so long. Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10)!
You may feel as if you are wandering across a dimly lit bridge surrounded by fog, yet be rest assured that a new clarity is coming. Truly the Lord is mighty in your midst, for He has been with you all along, faithfully guiding your every step. His hand of protection is upon you, shielding you from attacks that you aren’t even aware of.
The Lord is leading you across, so have faith! He only has abundance and increase in store for you. Your faith, tenacity, and courage will be greatly rewarded!
I sense the Lord telling you to shake off the discouragement, just as Paul shook off the snake that tried to attach itself to him.
“But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.”
Acts 28:5
Open your mouth and begin to praise Him as if the promise has already manifested, because truly you are standing on the very threshold of a mighty breakthrough. This will not simply be in one area of your life, but it will have a domino effect. You will see simultaneous breakthrough manifest at once. You will soon see why the battle has been so intense!
All is not lost- in fact, it’s quite the contrary. You are getting ready to recover all the spoils of the previous season. Double, double, double! The Lord of hosts is going before you and making the crooked places straight. He is mowing down every stubborn obstacle that has stood in your way and broadening your path. You are coming into a wide and spacious place. Rejoice, for this is your finest hour. Your heart’s highest desires are being fulfilled!

I have been suffering extreme fatigue for a year now. About the time I start to get better, I suddenly take a nose dive. I was really discouraged and I was trying to stand in faith, but I was telling the Lord how hope deferred makes the heart sick, then this message came up on youtube. Made me feel hope again, as I had just starting praising Him again this morning before seeing this. Thank you and God Bless you. I feel encouraged thanks to you and the Lord. God is good.
