“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 NIV
Recently, while by myself enjoying the sunshine and fresh air, I felt an increase in peace and freedom welling up on the inside of me. Regardless of some of the natural circumstances I was facing, this was truly a supernatural peace that I was experiencing as I sat quietly with the Lord.
I heard Him speak the following, “This is what true freedom looks like! True freedom is not controlling all of your circumstances around you, nor is it having everything as you desire it to be. It’s learning to fully surrender all outcomes to Me and trusting the process regardless of how things may appear.”
In the past, due to trauma that I had experienced in my life, I felt the need to control my circumstances and those I loved. In reality, this is a form of slavery. Jesus has come so that we can be set free and He has come to break every yoke!
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so you would no longer be their slaves. I broke the yoke of slavery from your neck so you can walk with your heads held high.” Leviticus 26:13 NLT
I sense the Lord’s heart of encouragement for many who may be currently facing circumstances that are causing you great distress. The Lord says, “Roll those heavy burdens onto Me! Lay down the weight of what you were never meant to carry for I am your burden carrier and your way maker! Do not look at the storm raging around you! Rather, keep your eyes locked on mine and you will truly walk on the water! I offer My children this same supernatural peace. You are joint heirs with Me and truly all that I have is made available to you! Continue to abide in Me!”
“Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.” Proverbs 29:25 NIV
“As you allow Me to be your great defender and leave all outcomes in My hands, you will be amazed at what I do! Do not fear, rather receive this supernatural peace that I am bestowing upon you and refuse to worry about anything! This is what freedom looks like!”

I so needed this! Bless you!
Yes and Amen Angie! Beautiful word! Praise the Lord!
