Forward Momentum

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”

Psalm 32:8

The Lord says, “This month, and in the months to come, you will experience My forward momentum. Watch, as the wind of my spirit supernaturally propels you forward. This is your season to advance and take the land! I have been strategically at work in your life, even while you’ve been in a long season of hiding and preparation.

“I prepared David to become king while he was shepherding the fields. I prepared Joseph even while he was in prison. Beloved, nothing in your life has been wasted. Truly, I have been with you working through it all.

“Continue to seek Me in all things, and do not fear the rapid changes that are upon you. As written in My Word, I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go (Psalm 32:8).

“Be bold and courageous, and be willing to leave behind that which is familiar. I am leading you in a way that you have not previously been. Surely, I will be with you. Be encouraged that you have been chosen for such a time as this!

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Ester 4:14

“Keep your eyes on Me and do not worry about what others think of you. As written, fear of man will prove to be a snare (Proverbs 29:25). Keep walking forward boldly and in My confidence, and I will not fail you! Be assured that you are highly favored and chosen of Me.

“Many will not be able to go with you where I am taking you. Even so, Bless them and continue to walk forward without looking back. I am bringing you into a greater place of freedom. You will no longer be concerned with the opinions of others, rather you will find delight in pleasing Me. I am causing your roots to grow deep, beloved. You will stand tall, anchored in Me, and even during the winds of adversity you will not be blown over.

“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Jeremiah 17:8

“Get ready for my forward momentum in your life. It’s your time and it’s your season declares the Lord!”

“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel: They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them. God, your God, says so.”

Amos 9:13-15

I Inhabit the Praises of My People

“Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises.”

Psalm 22:3

The Lord says, “I inhabit the praises of My people, and I will be exalted among the nations (Psalm 46:10). My goodness and light will prevail amidst the gross darkness. Surely, the darkness will not overcome (John 1:5).

“My bride, worship Me with your whole heart and do not hold back. Give Me the praises that are due to My name, for I will have no other gods before Me. I will be exalted among the nations. Truly, I am blessed when My people sing My praise!”

“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'”

Psalm 46:10

I’m Working Out All The Details!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

The Lord says, “My child, I am working out all the details to those situations that are troubling your heart. Just because you don’t yet see the way, does not mean that I’m not making one for you. I am the one who brings the dead things back to life. I make streams to flow in the desert places.

“I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.

Isaiah 41:18

“Refuse to waste another moment worrying about those things that you cannot change nor control, rather look to Me. Wait patiently and expect a good outcome. I am always working on your behalf. My heart is do exceedingly more than you could ever ask (Ephesians 3:20).

“Your future is not bleak like the enemy has been trying to make you believe; in fact, it is exactly the opposite. Great and mighty things are on the horizon, so anticipate a glorious outcome! I am going before you, making the crooked paths straight. Enter into My rest and trust in Me. I’m working out all of the details!

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

The Potter’s Wheel

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

Isaiah 64:8

Allow My fire to refine you, for I am purifying you even as the gold. I’m burning off the dross. I am removing everything that is not of Me. Don’t resist the work I’m doing within you, because I am molding you in My hands just like clay. The clay does not question the potter, rather it simply allows the potter to form it into the vessel of honor that he desires it to be. That is what I am doing with you, My child. Though the potter’s wheel may be an uncomfortable place to be, there is glory on the other side. Allow Me to have My way. Allow me to mold you into a beautiful vessel that will bring Me honor.

“And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible,
like gold refined seven times.”

Psalms 12:6

I’m Enlarging Your Tent!

“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.

Isaiah 54:2

Many are feeling stretched and overwhelmed at the transition that is taking place. Do not be discouraged, rather rejoice that you will soon spread out to the right and to the left (Isaiah 54:3).

Though the process is uncomfortable, embrace it and continue to move forward in faith and obedience. The Lord will lead your steps; He is your fire by night and your cloud by day (Exodus 13:21).

Do not allow the enemy to confuse you. You are not going backwards. Even in the chaos, you are moving forward and taking much ground! The Lord is enlarging your tent!

I’m Holding You!

“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 41:3

The Lord says, “Beloved, I am holding you by the right hand and My grip is secure upon your life. Nothing, and again I say nothing, can ever pluck you from My grasp (John 10:28). Fear not, neither be dismayed; I am holding you!

The Battle Belongs to the Lord

“You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.”

2 Chronicles 20:17

The Lord says, “Do not be dismayed or fearful, for the battle belongs to Me. I am fighting for you, you only need to be still (Exodus 14:14)! Over the past few days, many have been feeling an increase in the warfare and an intensity in the atmosphere. Even so, I am protecting you; you have nothing to fear.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

Psalm 91:1

“Praise Me in the midst of the storm and watch as the very atmosphere begins to shift. Do not give into fear, for as written in My Word, “I have not given you a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).

“I am working behind the scenes on your behalf. Things will radically shift, and soon you will experience unexpected blessings! Get ready for things to work in your favor, because I am the God of the turnaround, and nothing is impossible for Me.

“Remember to keep your eyes on Me; do not focus on the wind and the waves, for the battle belongs to Me.”

“The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”

Micah 2:13

My Kindness Is Being Extended Towards You!

“Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”

Psalm 63:3

The Lord says, “My precious child, know that My kindness is being extended towards you, for I delight in helping you. Even as the King had compassion on Queen Ester by extending his scepter towards her, I will do the same for you.

“When he saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter”

Ester 5:2

“My beloved, What is it that you desire? For it is My good pleasure to do it for you. Even as it is written in My Word, ‘I am a good and loving Father who gives good gifts to My children. Truly if you ask for bread, I will never give you a stone (Matthew 7:9).

“Throw off any fear and unbelief about My intentions for you. I am good. You can trust My ways, for I know the plans that I have for you. They are plans to give you a hope and a future, never to harm you (Jeremiah 29:11).

“Rejoice and know that all is well! You are loved, and you are mine. My kindness is being extended towards you, so receive it with open arms!

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:28

You’re Not Stuck

The Lord says, “You’re not stuck!” Recently, to celebrate our twenty fifth wedding anniversary, my husband and I went on a river cruise boat. It was a lovely experience. At one point, we both mentioned how we didn’t even realize that the boat was moving. Sure enough, when we looked out the windows, we could see the changing scenery; indeed, we were going down the river slow and steady even though moments before we were oblivious to the boat’s movement.

I sense the Lord’s heart of encouragement today for some who don’t even realize you are moving forward. The Lord says, “You are on the right path with My will for your life. Trust My timing and My speed. Do not become discouraged by your current pace, for things are about to accelerate, and the landscaping of your life will look all together different from where you previously stood.”

Do not measure your progress by what you only see in the natural, because the Lord is going to bring you up to speed in a super natural way. What has taken some years to achieve will seem like only moments for you. Watch, as the Lord brings you to the front of the line. Be encouraged! You’re not stuck, rather you are moving forward!

“‘Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’ God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”

Lean Into Me

The Lord says, “Lean into Me. Do not measure your progress by how you currently feel. Truly you are going forward, and My strength is made perfect in your weakness. Remember that I am your ever-present help in times of need (Psalm 46:1).

“In this season, I am leading you by a whole new way. Catch the wind of My Spirit, and continually lean into Me. I am bringing you to a good land: one that is flowing with milk and honey, a place where you will no longer have to strive. It is not by might nor power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. “I am your Way Maker and Miracle Worker. Lean into Me, beloved!”

“I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey . . .”

Exodus 3:17 NLT

Great Defender!

The Lord says, “I am your great defender! Know that I am not blind to the injustices that you have suffered. Indeed, I have been with you through it all.

“Even as you have maintained your integrity, I will vindicate you and bring you swift justice as you continue to look to Me; do not take matters into your own hands. Beloved, do not fret about what others think of you. I approve of you and that is all that matters!

“I hold the balancing scale in My hands, and I will vindicate you and right the wrongs that you have experienced

“Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord; all the weights in the bag are of His making.”

Proverbs 16:11

“As written in My Word, I give grace to the humble but I resist the proud (James 4:6). Though presently things seem out of control, be encouraged that through it all I am at work!

“You have experienced betrayal similar to that of Joseph; however, your testimony will also be like his, and you will proclaim, “What you intend to do for my harm, God has used for my good” (Genesis 50:20).

“I am taking the ax to the root of these long standing issues once and for all. Allow Me to do it! I will prepare a table of feasting and blessing for you, even in the presence of your enemies, for I am your great defender!”

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

Psalm 23:5

Awaken to My Goodness!

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”

Psalm 34:8

The Lord says, “My beloved, I am awakening you to My goodness! The enemy has sought to deceive you about My ways, making you question My very nature towards you. In your heart you have known that I am good, however, because of the longevity of the many trials you’ve endured, you have been conflicted about My will for you. Even so, Trust that I am at work.

“My beloved spoke and said to me, ‘Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with Me.'”

Song of Solomon 2:10

“Truly, My intentions towards you have always been good. As written in My Word, even earthly fathers know how to give gifts to their children; how much more will I, your heavenly Father, bestow nothing but the very best upon you (Matthew 7:10)?

“It’s a new day and a new dawn! I am causing the sun to rise on those past disappointments. I am washing away the pain and trauma of all that you have endured; it will never haunt you again!

“Rejoice, and again I say rejoice! I am the God who gives you beauty for ashes and joy for mourning. I make all things new, and I am awakening you to My goodness.”

“To all who grieve, I will bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

Isaiah 61:3

Surrender All to Me!

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

Psalm 121:1-2

The Lord says, “There is blessing in your ability to yield everything to Me; just wait, for My timing is perfect. As I’ve written in My Word, I resist the proud but give grace to the humble (James 4:6).

“Beloved, know that as you release those stressful people and circumstances to Me, I will work on your behalf. I am the God Who goes before you; I fight your battles so you don’t have to. Resist the urge to defend yourself against the injustices that you have experienced. Vengeance is Mine, and I will repay (Romans 12:19).

“Remember, I bless those who trust in My timing. Yield to Me your burdens, for My yoke is easy and My burden in light (Matthew 11:30). You will find peace when you surrender all to Me!”

You Are Safe With Me!

“For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”

Psalm 27:5

“My child, you are safe with Me! Even amidst the great shaking and turmoil that is currently taking place, I am your refuge, so fear not! Though the nations rage, I sit in the heavens and laugh.

“The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.”

Psalm 2:4

“It may appear as though everything is crumbling around you, however, I am in complete control. Even those who hold earthly authority are subject to Me. As written in My Word, The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; I guide it wherever I please (Proverbs 21:1)!

“Though the darkness seems to be growing even darker, My light will continue to shine all the brighter (Isaiah 60:2). Great exposure is coming, along with even more shaking, but be encouraged that you are highly protected beneath My wings.

“What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.”

Luke 12:3

For I am a God of justice and vindication; I will not be mocked (Galatians 6:77). Guard your heart and stand against fear and anxiety, because you are safe with Me!

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”

Psalm 32:7

My Yoke Is Easy!

Matthew 11:28-30

The Lord says, “My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Cease from striving and simply enter into My rest. Truly, nothing could ever cause Me to love you more than I already do.

I’m Bringing the New!

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Isaiah 43:19

The Lord says, “My child, I’m doing a new thing in your life and I am indeed bringing the new! Though transition can be uncomfortable, embrace it and cooperate with My process in your life. For without change, there would be no butterflies!

“You may be undergoing a great metamorphosis, know the end result will be glorious. There will be some who cannot go with you where I am taking you. Nevertheless, shake the dust off and walk forward into the new. I will bring you along those who will help you with the vision that I have placed inside of you. Even as Moses had Aaron to hold us his arms in battle, I will bring you a people that will do the same.

“When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.”

Exodus 17:12

“Be encouraged and know that to whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48). So it is the case with you. Take heart My beloved, because I am well pleased with you; truly I will open up the way before you as you continue to courageously walk the path I’ve called you to.

“You are a forerunner in your very bloodline. I am calling you to tear down the old and prepare for what is coming. Though the path seems dimly lit at times, I will illuminate it before you as you continue onward. You are making a difference both now and for all eternity. I am with you, and even in the stretching I am bringing the new! “

“The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

My Ways Are Perfect!

“As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.”

Psalm 18:30

The Lord says, “My precious child, My ways and My timing are perfect! Nothing will ever be too lost for Me to restore. Even all of those years that you have wept over, I say to you, ‘grieve no more!’ For I am the God who is able to redeem even what the locust have eaten (Joel 2: 25-32).

“Even now, I am drying your tears and I am breaking off the disillusionment that has sought to entangle you.

“Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.”

Zechariah 9:12

“Lift your head, My beloved. This is your time to come out and come forth. You will gather the spoils and you will emerge from the cave that the enemy has striven to keep you in; for truly he underestimates your tenacity and you will come out of the wilderness stronger than ever.

“Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.”

Psalm 24:9

My sword is in your hand and My words are in your mouth, Not one of them will fall to the ground, rather they will go forth and accomplish My very purposes (Isaiah 55:11).

“But if I say, ‘I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name,’ his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.”

Jeremiah 20:9

“I assure you that this is your season. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for my ways are perfect!”

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

Courage

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

The Lord says, “I am calling you to be strong and courageous in this season. This is your coming out time; no more wandering in the wilderness, no more complying. I am bringing you to the next level, and it will require courage and trust in Me.

“Even as I called Abraham to leave what was familiar, I am doing so with you, too. Do not look back, rather boldly walk forward in faith and be assured that I will be your fire by night and your cloud by day (Exodus 13:21).

“Do not look for the approval of man, for few will understand the unique path that I have called you to. This is the time to shake the dust from your feet and walk forward. Where there is radical obedience, there is radical blessing as well. Know that I will continue to open up the way before you.

“As written in Isaiah 30:21, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying ‘this is the way, walk in it.'”

“I am causing all things to work together for your good. Do not fear, rather be bold and courageous knowing that I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).”

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

I’m Teaching You My Ways

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:9

“My child, even through the stretching and discomfort that you’ve been feeling, be encouraged that through it all, I’m teaching you My ways.

Continue to remain soft, teachable, and pliable, for you are as the clay in the hands of the potter, and I am molding your very life into a beautified vessel for all to see.

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

Isaiah 64:8

I am pleased with your desire to learn and grow, so keep pressing forward and don’t be discouraged about those times that you miss the mark; remember I can make beauty and good even out of your very mistakes.

“Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”

Micah 7:8

I am pleased with how even during the times that you fall, you continuously get back up again and press forward. I don’t look at outward appearance as man does; I look much deeper than that. I see and know your heart (1 Samuel 16:7).

I am pleased with you, My beloved. When I look at you, I see no spot or blemish. I am undone by just one glance from you (Song of Solomon 4:7)!

Be encouraged and know that I have great things in store for you. Through every season, I am teaching you My ways!

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

You Are Free!

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

John 8:36

Even as we are celebrating Independence Day, the Lord is highlighting the word ‘freedom.’ Many have felt shaken and even assaulted by things they have already been set free from. The Lord says, “Pay no attention to the ‘giants in the land,’ for you are taking much ground. Though it may feel like the ‘old’ is trying to encroach on you, be at peace and know that you are free!

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.’

Galatians 5:1

My peace is your portion, so guard it and protect it diligently, for your enemy prowls about like a lion looking for whatever he can devour (1 Peter 5:8). Even so, as you stay rooted in Me, you are safe; you are shielded. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Stand above the noise, and pay no attention to the ‘smoke and mirrors’ the enemy is seeking to distract you with. This is your hour to advance and take the land. Truly there are more for you than against you (2 Kings 6:16). You have nothing to fear because in Me you are free!

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

2 Corinthians 3:17
