“Who stood up for me against the wicked? Who took my side against the evildoers? If the Lord had not helped me, I would have gone quickly to the land of silence. I said, “I am falling”; but your constant love, O Lord, held me up. Whenever I am anxious and worried, you comfort me and make me glad.” Psalm 94:16-19 GNT

A PSALM 94 MOMENT
Psalm 92-100 is an interesting devotion and study! As you read these scriptures, you will notice the great rejoicing of Psalm 92 and 93, plus Psalm 95 – 100. The psalmist boasts in the Lord by declaring His goodness, encouraging vibrant worship, and releasing the glory of God! The declarations of these scriptures are so powerful that several of our classic and modern praise songs have their roots in these passages! Yet, in the midst of this praise and rejoicing, the psalmist writes Psalm 94. It is written as a prayer and a travail to God, asking Him just how long must they wait for His hand to move on the wicked that is oppressing them.
If there was ever a travail moment in the earth – and possibly even in our personal lives – it would be in these days and hours as we are now living! Conflict, trials, hatred, social unrest, and pure evil seem to dominate the daily headlines and social platforms. It is a Psalm 94 moment in time! After a quick read of Psalm 94, one might wonder if the psalmist, David, was writing about the time in which he was living and prophetically speaking of a future time that would resemble the times we are now living in!
WOUNDED WARRIORS ARISE!
As I was writing this word, I saw a picture in my spirit of a wounded warrior laying prostrate with a sword at his side. The enemy had come along and kicked this warrior while he was down and wounded. He laughed and mocked this dear one thinking he was down and defeated. The enemy turned for one last look only to see a glimmer in the warrior’s eyes! Surprised, the warrior arose strong from his defeated position and picked up his sword for battle! He arose strong in the strength of the Lord and his eyes burned with strength and vigor! Terrified, the enemy then screamed in agony, turned and ran in fear! Then I heard the Lord speak to Me concerning a very specific scripture.
“Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will arise; though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.” Micah 7:8 BSB
I hear the Lord saying, “The sun is rising on what has felt to be the darkest and longest night of the soul. I am restoring your strength and your vigor! Where the enemy has attempted to silence your voice and steal your song… new songs shall be released! Scribes! You will write again! You will testify of the amazing work of your God! Dust off the ashes of what you thought was defeat! Now, arise in My strength and vigor! If I, the Lord, am before you, then who or what can possibly stand against you?”
“He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD.” Psalm 40:3 NLT
I AM ACTIVELY WORKING ON YOUR BEHALF!
“The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17 NLT
I hear the Lord saying today, “My precious one! I have seen the tears and the weariness. I have seen the fog of disillusionment and despair that the enemy has sought to cloak you with. Lift your eyes, warrior! I am actively working on your case in My courts in Heaven! I am working on your behalf! I am fighting for you! I am aligning many things for your favor and for your highest good! Though you have felt like you have been in the fight of your life – know this! The best is yet to come!”
FLIP THE SCRIPT
The Lord says, “Flip the script! Whatever your soul is fearing or burdened from, just flip the script! Laugh at your enemy because he is a defeated foe!
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because the One in you is greater than the one in the world.” 1 John 4:4 BLB
“Intimidation and fear of your future has been seeking to gain a foothold in your mind and in your heart. Cast these vain imaginations down, for they are lies! Do not entertain them, nor give them access to your heart. Rather, take these rogue thoughts captive and give them to Me!”
“We demolish arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2nd Corinthians 10:5 BSB
“My light and My truth are breaking forth, even as you have been calling out to Me! Truly, I have heard your cries and My deliverance is upon you!”
“I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4 NIV
OUR MOMENT
I hear the Lord saying, “Worship Me like David did in the Psalms, for I have come to deliver you now from the hands of your oppressors! You will see My hand of favor move on your behalf! You will see victory after victory! One thing fast upon another! Joy will be your portion! Your victory is secure in Me. Stay close to Me in this hour and you will see My supernatural hand of provision< blessing, favor, increase, position and promotion! Fear not! Only believe and decree your victory for I have preserved your victory for this time and for this season! You will rejoice greatly! Your mouth will be filled with continual praise towards Me as you stand and see the salvation of your Lord for I am great and I am mighty in battle! Again, I say to you to stay close to me in this hour! I am delivering you and turning your sorrows into great joy!”
“Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout to the Rock of our salvation! Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him in song. For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods. In His hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the sheep under His care.” Psalm 95:1-7 NIV
