I felt that the Lord wanted to encourage heavy, weary hearts that have become discouraged in the extended waiting process. Many have been contending and declaring breakthrough in circumstances for so long; they have seen little or no change. The enemy has come to many people, whispering to simply give up and to lose all hope, saying that things will never change.

These are lies! 

Do not set yourself in agreement with the enemy! The devil is the father of lies. He wants you to focus on your circumstances, not what God is doing behind the scenes.

God has heard your cries; His ears are not deaf to your pleas and petitions. The Lord is good, and it is His good pleasure to give you His Kingdom. I feel the Lord is saying this today:

Expect to see My goodness manifest, regardless of what your eyes may see in the natural. I am a good, good Father, and I give good gifts to My children. If you ask me for bread I won’t give you a stone (Matthew 7:9-11). Keep thanking Me and praising Me for the answers; help is on the way. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Psalm 28:7). The Son of Righteousness is arising with healing in his wings. Those who wait upon the Lord will have renewed strength, He will mount you up with wings like eagles. You will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Let hope arise. Encourage yourself in Me; know that your best days are ahead of you. All of My promises are YES and AMEN. Set yourself – all of your thoughts, words, and actions – in agreement with My promises and My Word. I am for you, not against you, and I work all things together for good. Shake off all discouragement, fear, and hope deferred. I have such good things in store for you, My child. I can bring beauty from ashes, just have faith in My goodness.

Don’t be afraid to have hope and expect the very best from the Lord. You don’t have to know how the situation is going to play out, or exactly what God is going to do. Just look to Him continuously; trust Him and thank Him for the answers that He will bring. The Lord has heard your cry. He’s seen your tears, your faithfulness, and the heaviness of your heart. Lean into Him during this season. God loves you with a deep, unfathomable, never-ending love. He can take all of the broken, mismatched pieces and make a beautiful picture out of it all. He can – and will – set the things in your life back into order. Fear not; He has heard your plea and is even now working on your behalf. The Lord is faithful!

and increases the power of the weak.

and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:29-31
