Many are becoming battle weary in this season, as the fire has seemed to be seven times hotter than before. The enemy is seeking to bring condemnation for the times that you have stumbled or made even the smallest mistake. Know there is now no condemnation for those who are in Me, Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). I am not looking at how many times you fall, for I see a warrior, one who gets back up again. You may stumble for a moment, but you dust yourself off and keep moving forward. “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes” (Proverbs 24:16).
My heart is well pleased with you, beloved. I know that the battle has been intense; I understand that you’re tired. Run into My loving arms and find shelter! How I long to comfort you, even as a mother hen comforts her young. The enemy is lying when he tries to tell you, “You’re going backwards and you’re losing ground.” The truth is, you are taking new ground, advancing My kingdom! You are a mighty soldier in training, and these trials and tribulations are preparing you for greatness. Your faith is becoming purified like the gold, and you are being made stronger. You are growing in leaps and bounds, My precious beloved!
You are a forerunner, and forerunners are marked for their greatness. They blaze new trails, even though it is an arduous task to go where no one else has gone before, or do what previous generations have not. Know that your labor of love is not in vain. As you plow ahead through the hard and untilled ground, fighting the battle for those who will one day walk behind you, you are preparing the way for others to reap what you have sown.
Continue to run your race well, keeping your eyes locked on the prize. Stay faithful to My still small voice; follow My leading, even in the seemingly small things. Your efforts are not in vain, for you are moving mountains in My kingdom, bringing light to the darkness. Your season will soon change, and before long, everywhere that had once been desolated will be filled with new life! Behold, I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs (Isaiah 41:18). You will soon see My glory rise from the ashes!
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” | Isaiah 60:1
