Every Good and Perfect Gift Comes from Above

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. | James 1:17

I have such a sense of renewed hope and expectancy in my spirit. The Lord is good, and all of His ways are just.

He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he (Deuteronomy 32:4).

“May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge” (Ruth 2:12). I sense so strongly that many who have faithfully labored for the Lord, stewarding well all that He has entrusted them with, are about to step into an amazing season of harvest.

This will be a season of replevin. The word ‘replevin’ (by definition) is a legal term that means, “the recovery by a person of goods or chattels claimed to be wrongfully taken or detained … (Merriam-Webster). God is now releasing blessings and benefits that have been withheld from you in past seasons! Yes, blessings and benefits that the Lord desires to bestow upon you and have once been withheld are going to be released at rapid speed. Even as it is written in Scripture, “Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return” (Ecclesiastes 11:1).

Back pay is coming to many for the things they have given and sown into the Kingdom with pure hearts. This not only includes sowing financially, but also laboring for the Lord faithfully in ministry and continuing to serve Him. You may have forgotten about some of the things that you have given, due to the amount of time that has past, but the Lord is saying today, “I have not forgotten your labor of love for My Kingdom! Your season of reaping is now upon you.”

Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way, say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save you” (Isaiah 35:3-5). I speak and declare a renewed hope and strength over those who have become weary in well doing. Our God will reward those who diligently seek Him, and no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).

“So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant” (Joshua 24:13). The King of kings is enlarging territories and expanding your borders. I believe that many are going to encounter supernatural increase. There are those who’s debts will be canceled for the glory of the Lord, and houses and lands will be given unto them. You will experience the extravagant favor of the Lord, and it will cause many others to come into the Kingdom. They will know that the hand of God is at work because of the goodness that He pours out upon you.

Begin to encourage yourself in the Lord, and let hope arise. Our good Father has heard your prayers, and He is going to do above and beyond all that we can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
for those who fear him lack nothing (Psalm 34:8-9).
