I Am Your Provider

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. | Matthew 6:28-33

My Beloved, I desire to show you how well I can take care of you and how I long to provide for your every need. I am a good and generous Father; if you, My precious child, ask for bread, I will not give you a stone (Matthew 7:9). Know that My eye is on the sparrow; how much more am I watching over you? For I know your request before a word is even formed on your tongue, and I am intimately acquainted with your ways.

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.  And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrow (Matthew 10:29-31).

I am the God of abundance. Is there anything two difficult for me? I, alone, am your source; I own the cattle on a thousand hills, and My supply will never run dry. Take heart, for I am lovingly watching over you, providing for your every need.

My child, do not fear during these times of transition, nor put your security in anything other than Me. While people and circumstances may change, I am the God who changes not (Malachi 3:6). Ask big of Me, for I am ready and willing to help you in your time of need. Let Me reveal Myself to you as Jehovah Jireh: the God who provides.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Fear not, for fear has to do with punishment, but My perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). My peace will be your portion, as you look to Me and continue to trust in My goodness. Do not worry about the future; I have already gone ahead of you and have prepared the way for you. Even as Ruth received My favor (as I led Boaz to instruct his workers to provide for her physical needs), I will also cause My favor and goodness to manifest in your life. Indeed, I will open up My provision for you in such a way that you will not have to strive to attain it. Continue to make Me your heart’s highest delight and your number one priority. Seek first My Kingdom above all else, and all these other things that you are in need of shall be added unto you, as well (Matthew 6:33).

This is a time to cease from your striving and enter into My rest. Know and have confident assurance that your Father has everything under control. Nothing escapes My notice. I am meeting all of your needs (both big and small, alike), as I am working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Continue to look to Me; put your trust in the Lord! I am your provider, and I am faithful.
