Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him. | Psalm 126:5-6
Once again the Lord has been highlighting tears to me in this season. I believe that the Lord would want you to know that He has taken note of your tears and the injustices that you have experienced. His eye is on you, Beloved; be assured that your God is intimately acquainted with all of your ways (Psalm 139:3).
You have taken account of my wanderings;
Put my tears in Your bottle.
Are they not in Your book? (Psalm 56:8)
Though your faith feels weak and your strength low, you have said in your heart, “Though He slay me, I will hope in Him” (Job 13:15). Be encouraged that the Lord has been working behind the scenes in your life. He is putting together a beautiful mosaic, even out of what looks like the broken, shattered pieces of your life. Our God wastes nothing, and He is giving you beauty for your ashes (Isaiah 61:3). He has seen the posture of your heart and how you have praised your way through the darkest valleys of despair.
How blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
In whose heart are the highways to Zion!
Passing through the valley of Baca they make it a spring;
The early rain also covers it with blessings (Psalm 84:5-6).
The Lord is redeeming things, though the process may look different than what you’ve anticipated. Be confident that it will be His very best for you. Your joy will be explosive, as you witness with your own eyes the goodness of God in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
Cast not away your confidence, and let your hope arise! Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19). Your very tears have been fertilizing the ground of your harvest, and you are going to reap great joy. Get ready to be in awe of God’s continuing faithfulness in your life!
O my Precious Lord and Savior, I am in awe of Your majestic and powerful ways. Blessed be Your holy and righteous name. Abba, Father, from the bottom of my broken heart, thank You for this message. I needed this especially today. I asked the Lord to help me stay faithful and obedient to His very will and purpose for my life and though this walk gets really tough and hard to see at times, my heart’s desire is to remain purposeful and diligent no matter the sufferings or the tribulations. I have learned over the last twelve years of this relationship with Him, He is with me even through the roughest moments of my life even now. I feel like Elijah and wanting to have faith and believe that God is sending me out to the brook, or to the widow’s house and I am waiting to see God move in my life today. Though the wait be long and hard, Father I will wait, praising You all the way. Today of all days, I suffer with impatience, waiting to see God move in a mighty way. I have felt this for the past few months, God is up to something big and I am excited to see what it is. The wait has been tedious and painful. Its the wait that burdens my heart today. But reading a message from the Lord today, it calms the anxiety within and gives me a peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you for allowing Him to use you in such a mighty way, to bring the good news to the broken-hearted and freedom to the captives. Thank you so very much!
