When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. | Isaiah 43:2
Many have been feeling the intensity of the heavy onslaught and warfare that is taking place. However, be encouraged: the Lord is about to reward the perseverance that you carried even as you walked through the fiery trials. As it is written in Isaiah 43:2, “When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” The truth is that the Lord, Himself, is shielding and protecting you. You are going to come out completely unscathed, with nothing missing and nothing broken.
The Lord is going to give you double for your trouble, even as He did for His servant, Job (Job 42:10). Though these fiery trials have been difficult, know that the Lord has been strengthening your resolve. The enemy has sought to destroy and overwhelm you in this season, but he has not been able to succeed. Instead, the Lord has been allowing you to persevere, even while you were under fire. God is working all things together for your good, and He is using this season to strengthen and refine you.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
I hear the Father declaring, “Help is on the way! It is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of Hosts (Zechariah 4:6). Continue to praise Him through the storm, and know that this heaviness will soon lift. Very quickly you will experience a new joy and freedom in abundance! Truly our God will turn your mourning into dancing and give you a new song to sing (Psalm 30:11; Psalm 91:1).
Your praise is a powerful weapon against the enemy, and it will cause the very atmosphere to shift. Watch, for you shall overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony (Revelation 12:11). Stand firm and be encouraged today, because the Lord is mighty in your midst. He is bringing you through with a high and uplifted hand, for truly Our God is great in battle.
Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies, and all your foes will be destroyed (Micah 5:9).
