Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy Name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. | Psalm 103:1-5
Many of you are facing battles right now and feel overwhelmed on every front; discouragement and a spirit of heaviness have sought to keep you weighed down. However, the Lord is placing a victor’s crown on your head, even now. Truly, Beloved, He is crowning you with victory! You are arising from the very ashes of defeat that the enemy has sought to keep you bound in. The light is breaking through the darkness, and you are overcoming! Indeed, The Lord is crowning you with victory! The battle has already been won. Sing your song! Raise your hallelujah, and watch those prison doors swing open, even as they did for Paul and Silas:
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose (Acts 16:25-26).
In that passage, a praise broke open the way; so it shall be with you! Remember: it’s always darkest before the dawn. Your new day is quickly approaching. I prophesy new hope, joy, and life to the dead and dry places. Watch now, as your God crowns you with victory!
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9).
