The Potter’s Wheel

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

Isaiah 64:8

Allow My fire to refine you, for I am purifying you even as the gold. I’m burning off the dross. I am removing everything that is not of Me. Don’t resist the work I’m doing within you, because I am molding you in My hands just like clay. The clay does not question the potter, rather it simply allows the potter to form it into the vessel of honor that he desires it to be. That is what I am doing with you, My child. Though the potter’s wheel may be an uncomfortable place to be, there is glory on the other side. Allow Me to have My way. Allow me to mold you into a beautiful vessel that will bring Me honor.

“And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible,
like gold refined seven times.”

Psalms 12:6
