Trust Me with Your Next Steps

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Isaiah 30:21

Recently while seeking the Lord, I heard Him say, “Trust Me with your next steps.” I believe that this is a word for many who are currently finding themselves in transition, seeking the Lord for direction. You do not have to fear ‘missing it’ or making a wrong decision, for the Lord is with you, and He is orchestrating your steps. It is written in His Word that the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps (Proverbs 16:9 ESV). Be encouraged! As you have been praying and seeking the Lord for wisdom and guidance, He will be faithful to answer.

Ask Me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.

Jeremiah 33:3 NLT

Trust in the goodness of our God and be confident that He is leading and guiding you in this season. Do not fear the stillness, but rather rest in Him. The Lord is working in ways that you currently cannot see, but soon it will be made apparent. For truly “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT).

Continue to abide in the Vine and be encouraged that things will soon fall into place. Even as you have been faithful with little, God is getting ready to promote you and entrust you with more! He is increasing you, for you are about to reap a mighty harvest. Your years of being faithful and stewarding well what He has entrusted you with is being rewarded. Do not shrink back nor fear the changes that are upon you. Trust the Lord with your next steps!

“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.”

Isaiah 54:2
