Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits . . .

so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
As I was seeking the Lord about the new year that we’ve just entered into, I heard Him say, “Renewal in 2022!” I continued to press into this word, and this is what He spoke to me:
“2022 will be a year of renewal, restoration, and reward! Many have been battle weary and on the verge of losing hope, but have hope! I am breathing new life, restoring even the things that have looked beyond repair.”
I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—Joel 2:25
the great locust and the young locust,
the other locusts and the locust swarm—
my great army that I sent among you.
Do not mistake delay for denial. The Lord’s ways and His timing is not ours. As it is written, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9). Even in the long season of waiting, the Lord has been doing a mighty work behind the scenes. I can personally testify that the promises the Lord had spoken to my husband and I for over a decade are now coming to pass. What once seemed dead and barren is now manifesting!
This vision is for a future time.Habakkuk 2:3 (NLT)
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed.
You are being prepared and made ready for the season of harvest that is about to manifest. The previous year has been painful, but necessary; it has been a time of pruning, growth, and preparation. Even so, the Lord has been creating new wine skin so that you can steward well what He is releasing upon you in this new season.
The Lord is encouraging us to run freely into all He is leading us to in this new year and season. Resist the temptation to go back to the old, for that door has been shut. Listen, as God is calling you forward! In Isaiah 43:18-19, the Lord says, “Do not call to mind the former things, or consider things of the past. Behold, I am going to do something new, now it will spring up; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” This is a time to get your hopes up. The long awaited promises and the things you’ve been contending for will suddenly come to pass. Truly you will see and testify of the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!
If you have been on the verge of despair and feel like giving up, take heart! The Lord is bringing forth renewal, restoration, and reward for those who have obeyed Him and remained faithful, even through the trials of previous years. Your best days are yet to come!
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.Revelation 3:8
