The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10 (NIV)
The Lord is bringing many full circle in this season. Though you have previously experienced one heartache after another, I say to you: you are entering a new day. Get ready to experience joy and joy more abundantly!
To all who mourn in Israel,
Isaiah 61: 3 (NLT)
he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,
a joyous blessing instead of mourning,
festive praise instead of despair.
In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks
that the Lord has planted for his own glory.
The Lord is restoring all that the locust has eaten in the previous seasons of your life. Where the enemy has attempted to rob God’s people, the Lord is now restoring double!
Today, as I was simply lounging by the pool and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation, I was in awe at the amount of joy and peace that welled up inside of me. I then heard the Lord whisper to me, “This is what living is: to experience joy and peace, and to truly abide in Me.” I want to personally testify that at the age of 48 years old, I am experiencing life to the fullest! I am living my best life. I have endured a lot of trauma throughout the years; however, by God’s grace, I’ve experienced much healing, as well. Lately, the Lord has been bringing me into an even deeper level of healing.
For years, I have walked closely with my heavenly Father and have encountered His presence in very tangible ways. Still, He is showing me that there is always more to be experienced: more healing, more joy, and more peace.
The Lord is calling us deeper, still!
Deep calls to deep
Psalm 42:7 (NIV)
in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
have swept over me.
Allow the Lord to go to the intimate places of your heart, bringing any lingering fears, doubts, and disappointments into the light of His grace. He desires to free you from anything that might hinder you from your forward momentum. The Lord is for you, and His love is pursuing you. He does not condemn you, even in moments of weakness or struggle. He is ravished by just one glance from your eye (Song of Songs 4:9).
God is good, and He has nothing but the best in store for you.
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
Psalm 34:8 (NIV)
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
