“For you will break the yoke of their slavery and lift the heavy burden from their shoulders. You will break the oppressor’s rod, just as you did when you destroyed the army of Midian.” Isaiah 9:4 NLT

Recently, I have been experiencing some back pain, which is not something I usually deal with. While seeking the Lord during our church worship service regarding this pain, I immediately got the sense that the Lord was highlighting Isaiah 9:4 to me. Oftentimes, I have noticed that what is happening in the natural will coincide with the spiritual as well. As I continued to press into the Lord regarding the scripture that he highlighted, I sensed the following word.

The Lord says, “There are those who have been dealing with aches and pains in their backs and other parts of their bodies as well. Many have even subconsciously allowed themselves to be bowed low and weighted down with the burdens and cares of this life. In some, it is even manifesting through arthritic pain and muscle aches.”

“As you release all that would seek to overwhelm you and weigh you down, the burden will be removed from your back! As it is written, the rod of your oppressor will be broken! (Isaiah 9:4). Feast on my word and my promises that I have spoken over you. Truly, it will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones (Proverbs 3:8). I desire that my children flourish and be in health in all areas (3 John 1:2). The Joy of the Lord is Truly your strength (Nehemiah 8:10b)! Raise you Hallelujah and praise me and continue to declare my goodness over yourself and your circumstances.”

“Renewed strength and healing will arise as you wait upon me and refuse to allow those burdens to attach to you. I am with you! I am for you! I will remove the burdens from your back!“

“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” Malachi 4:2 NLT

Heavenly Father, we lift up every person reading this word. We speak your encouragement and renewed hope over every situation. We declare that strength is rising as we wait upon the Lord! We thank you in advance for the great and mighty things that you have in store for each of us! We speak and declare this in the mighty, precious name of Jesus Christ, amen!
