My beloved spoke and said to me, “Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me. See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.” Song of Solomon 2:10-12 NIV

I often find that the spiritual realm and the natural realm coincide and dance together. Even as we have entered into the natural spring season, I sense the Lord’s heart of encouragement to those who have endured an unusually long and harsh winter season. He is about to birth new things in you and bring what looked dead and barren back to life! Though you have not understood the pain and intensity of your previous season, you have refused to cast away your confidence in Him! You have said in your heart, “Though He slays me, yet will I praise Him (Job 3:15).”
I hear the Lord say, “Rejoice! Spring has come! A new season is upon you! Be encouraged! I am now sending My refreshing rains to renew and revive you! You will begin to see new life and new hope sprout forth in those areas that have looked dead and barren for so long! I am awakening a holy hunger in you and fanning those embers back into flame! You will have a new song to sing, for My joy will be your strength!”
“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in Him.” Psalm 40:3 NIV
“I see My warriors of the faith arising from where they have previously laid on the battlefield with their sword on the ground. You have received much wounding from the enemy through slander and betrayal, but now I will come and wash you and heal you by My spirit! I will now breathe new life into you! I am restoring Kingdom purposes and dormant passion for your first love in Me!”
“Arise! Shake off the dust and heartache from the past, pick up your sword and stand with courage once again! I am lifting your chin and I place a beautiful crown on your head. I look into your eyes with love and ferocity and I decree, “Beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, and double honor where there has been shame!” Stand and see. The winter is past and the spring has come! You have come out of the wilderness season leaning on your Beloved!”
