“Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:14-17 NASB

THE ROCK OF TRUTH

Recently as I was seeking the Lord for another word, I was quickly reminded of the word He spoke to us concerning the “shifting and shaking” that was coming. He said, “There will be shaking but do not fear the shaking. There will be sifting but do not fear the sifting!” As I pondered this statement, I was then reminded of the parable of the wise man and the foolish man who built their houses on different foundations.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27 NASB

My friends, be assured that many will rise with voices of deception and lies in this season. Be on guard and sharpen your discernment for this is a true test to where your anchor holds. In sifting and shaking, may you find your anchor fastened to the rock of truth!

STAY ANCHORED IN TRUTH!

“Therefore, come out from them and be separate”, says the Lord. “Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 2 Corinthians 6:17 NIV

I hear the Lord saying, “Stay anchored in truth even amidst a culture that says truth is irrelevant! You are in a season where good is called evil and evil is called good. Stand strong and do not fear as you take a stand for truth and righteousness! Have I not called you to come out from among them and be separate? My Bride, I have called you to be salt and light on the earth. Salt preserves and light illuminates the way! My word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path (Psalm 119:105). My word is your guide and the blueprint which I have called you live by. You carry the fragrance of Christ! This will be life to some and death to others. In either case, do not dim your light or conform to the ways of the world. I am calling you to be anchored in truth!”

“See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” Isaiah 60:2 NIV

“The sifting and shaking will increase but do not fear the sifting and the shaking! More darkness and wickedness will be exposed and come into the light as My kingdom continues to advance! Come into a deeper intimacy with Me in this hour. Come and listen to my instructions. It is in the secret place that I will reveal My heart to you and show you how to pray.”

“I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guard post. There I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer my complaint.” Habakkuk 2:1 NIV

“Again I say unto you to put fear aside and come close to Me amidst sifting and shaking! Abide in Me. For in Me, you have all that you need! As I have promised you in My word, I will never leave you or forsake you! I am with you always, even to the ends of the age! Find your anchor in Me!”
