TREES

Trees are a remarkable creation. When fully matured, trees provide numerous benefits to the earth and the surrounding environment. They supply large quantities of oxygen, help prevent soil erosion, provide food and shade for people and forest creatures, mitigate the effects of large temperature fluctuations, and limit the effects of surface winds from storms. Every season, the leaves of trees will fall to the ground, which will eventually decay and enrich the soil with added nutrients. When harvested, they provide vast quantities of valuable lumber and building materials for people. Yes, the glory of a beautiful, mature tree can be seen from afar, but this glory is a direct result of the glory of what is never seen under the ground. Truly, a tree can ONLY fulfill its greatest potential by having a healthy and widespread root system beneath it. Trees that grow too fast and will lack a solid root system to hold them in times of storms. At the same time, trees that grow in adverse conditions are forced to drive deep roots and seek out the needed nutrients to survive and thrive! It is in this deep root system they are anchored!

I AM STRENGTHENING YOUR ROOT SYSTEM!

I hear the Lord saying, “I am increasing your peace and strengthening your root system! Much growth has been taking place in you and it is to your benefit. You have made your anchor in Me! Great strength comes from great patience. The greatest of trees takes many decades to grow. Its roots are very deep and connected to the source. Like a tree that receives its nourishment and strength from deep soil, you have allowed your roots to go deep in Me. Do not be concerned if others do not see the depth of your roots. Rather, continue to make Me your one true source!”

INNER CHAMBERS OF THE HEART

“Much growth and workings of My spirit have been taking place even in the inner chambers of your heart. It may not be apparent to man, but I see it! I am always looking at the heart!”

“But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 NIV

“Though you have felt the growing pains and the uncomfortable transition of this season, it has been for your benefit! I am the God who works all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). At times, the enemy was able to get a foothold to usher in fear and anxiety, yet I have been doing a deep healing and work in you. In this new chapter and season, you will now notice that those things will no longer stick to you! Those things that caused fear and anxiety will simply roll off of you like water rolling off a duck’s back.”

PUTTING ON LOVE!

“Even as you have put on love, you are pushing off offenses and grievances of the former season! Truly, you will no longer be entangled or tripped up by those areas of past wounding. Even to those anxious and stressful things that came in cycles, you will have a greater increase in peace! This peace will not be dependent on natural circumstances. Rather, it is a result of My supernatural grace in this new season!”

NEW RHYTHM AND NEW JOY!

“I am bringing you into a place of freedom that you have not yet known or experienced. You have experienced a measure of it. Now, be expectant for the fullness of it!
