“Look,” said Naomi, “your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.” But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” Ruth 1:15-16 NIV

RUTH

As you read this word for today, I encourage you to also read and reflect on the story of Ruth. In the midst of tragic circumstances, Ruth verbally commits to leave her people and their gods to follow Naomi and the God of Israel (Ruth 1:15-17)! This one act of faith opened up for her a hidden journey of protection (Ruth 2:9), provision (Ruth 2:14-17), and eventually redemption (Ruth 4:9-15)! Even into her final days, The Lord was still blessing Ruth by including her in the lineage of our savior, Jesus Christ! It is a fascinating read, depicting how our great God will take our story and turn it around for greatness when we yield to Him our simple act of obedience!

I AM ORCHESTRATING MANY THINGS!

I hear the Lord saying today, “My child, do not be discouraged if certain situations in your life seem momentarily still or have taken an unexpected turn. I am orchestrating many things and I am moving behind the scenes of your life. Throw off anxiety and doubt that would seek to entangle you. Stand tall in your faith and declare to the atmosphere just how great your God is! Do not move from what I have spoken to you! Look not to what is seen, for that which is seen can change at any given moment. Rather, look to that which is unseen, for that is where your answers and your salvation will come! Truly, I am working things in your favor, regardless of how things may appear in the natural. What may currently appear to be delayed, is positioning you for favor and increase! I am the author of your story and your times and seasons are truly in My hands! Trust your good Father! I always cause you to triumph and lead you into victory!”

HOLD STEADY AND LET HOPE ARISE
