Tap Into The Treasure Within!

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” 2nd Corinthians 4:7 ESV

WALKING ON WATER

In Matthew 14, we find the familiar story of Peter stepping out of the boat to meet Jesus on the water. As the story goes, the disciples of Christ were in a boat on the sea, crossing over to the other side, when a great wind arose and buffeted their efforts. They could make no real progress in their own strength, for the wind was against them. Then, in the midst of their struggles, Jesus shows up in the most unexpected way! Only one was able to discern the situation from this unusual scene, while the other eleven were gripped with fear and bewilderment! Peter chose to be a part of what his Rabbi was doing in that moment. Yes, it was unusual! Yes, it was never seen before, but Peter chose the treasure of Jesus amidst the wind and the waves! He chose to be with his Rabbi on the water by stepping out of the boat. In that moment, His faith was greater than the physical laws and limitations that surrounded him, for he was fully focused on the treasure of Jesus!

Today, we have access to Jesus through His sacrifice on the cross and through His precious Holy Spirit. We receive Him into our hearts when we ask him to come in, to forgive us of our sins, and to make him the Lord of our life!

THE TREASURE WITHIN

The Lord says, “In the midst of the swirling, in the midst of the waves, in the midst of the mounting pressure, tap into the treasure within! Do not lean on your own reasoning or human understanding. Rather, tap into Me! Just as a tree draws nourishment from its deep root system, draw from the depths of Me! Truly, I am your daily supply and your life line! Apart from Me, you can do nothing. Yet, in Me and through Me, You can do all things!”

“Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.” John 15:4 BSB

“The enemy of your soul seeks to wear you down by drawing your attention away from what truly matters. Resist him and lean on Me! Rely solely on Me, for I am your answer to everything you are currently facing! Rise above the warfare, for you are seated with Me in Heavenly places.”

“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 2:6 BSB

“As previously spoken, many have increased in their rank and authority in this hour, only to feel the onslaught against you. The enemy is now seeking to knock you off course and steal your promotion! Guard what has been given to you and tap into the treasure within! Truly, the war is not flesh and blood, but rather with powers and principalities in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Even so, you are an overcomer and you war from a place of victory!”

“To many, new strategies and precision hearing of My Holy Spirit will be needed to navigate the new path that I have placed before you! What once worked in the previous season will not necessarily work in your new season. I call My most skilled warriors to the front lines. Be laser focused and quick to obey your Commander-In-Chief. This can only be done as you continually abide in Me. Guard your peace and protect it! This may require you to lay aside some things, for which you may be falsely judged and misunderstood.” I say to you, “Do not be moved! New assignments are on the horizon and this will require an upgrade in how you operate! I will provide everything you need. Stay focused, resist trivial things, and refuse to be small minded, for I am bringing you to a higher place in Me! Truly, more will be required of you. Greater discipline and greater stewardship are needed for what I am getting ready to release! Be diligent! Be faithful! To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48). Do not shrink back or retreat! Rather, walk forward in My confidence for I have promised that wherever your foot treads, I will give you the land (Joshua 1:3). Tap into the treasure within!

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NLT
