Childlike Faith

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.” | Matthew 18: 1-5

Trust me with childlike faith and reckless abandonment. In everything and in all things, let your prayers and petitions be made known. Then the peace of God that passes understanding will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7).

My peace is your portion. Choose it this day, regardless of your circumstances. As you posture your heart to trust Me and refuse to worry, it frees Me to work on your behalf. As you do this you are partnering with Me, my report, and my promises.

Look not to what you see in the natural, neither give any room for fear or discouragement. Instead, let faith and hope arise! If you could see in the spiritual realm, you would see that I have set angels in place to minister and work on your behalf. “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them” (Psalm 34:7).

Keep pressing into My heart and continue to lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). For who but I can bring beauty out of your ashes and give you joy for mourning? Let hope arise and look to Me! I will not disappoint you, nor will I ever leave or forsake you. I am a good Father who desires good things for you, My child. I know the plans and thoughts I have for you, and they are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
