If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. |2 Chronicles 7:14
This morning, while laying in bed, I kept hearing the phrase, “Awake, awake from your slumber!” The urgency kept growing. Still not fully awake, I got out of bed and began seeking the Lord.
This is what I sense He is saying to the body of Christ in this hour:
Who will discern the burden of the Lord? Who will tarry with Me in the secret place and ask Me what is on My heart? The god of this world has sought to blind the eyes of many.
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4).
So many are distracted right now, and it’s one of the biggest tools of the enemy; he wants to keep My bride distracted and focused on lesser things.
My bride, hear My call: “Awake, awake, O sleeper!”
“…Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you” (Ephesians 5:14).
Come away with Me; tarry in My presence! Will you stand in the gap for the nations that are in the balance? I am looking for My laid down lovers who will set aside their own agendas, press into My heart, pray, and partner with Me to push back the darkness.
There is a great urgency, My bride, to pray and intercede like never before. I’m calling you to pray over the schools and your churches! Declare Psalm 91, for indeed I hearken unto the voice of your words.
Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word (Psalm 103:20).
For the prayers of My people are powerful and effective (James 5;16). This is not the time to retreat or bend a knee in fear! I am calling you fourth in this hour, My bride, to put on your combat boots and engage in battle. Have I not said in my word that the violent shall take it by force?
“…the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12).
I have also said that in My name you shall cast out demons, heal the sick, and raise the dead. (Matthew 10:8). I am calling my bride to awake from her slumber – to come fourth as the fearless warrior that I have intended her to be. She will not shrink back, retreat, or back down. She will bring the battle to the enemy. She will gather the spoils and repair the war torn cities. She shall be called ‘repairer of the breech.’
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
(Isaiah 58:12).
I am calling you to intercede and rescue those caught in sex-trafficking. My heart grieves over every one of these, and it is My desire that not one should perish, for I have come to seek that which was lost (Luke 19:10). My heart is broken over sex-trafficking! Will you bare this burden in prayer? Will you pray, “Lord, break my heart for what breaks yours?”
“Now is the time to arise and shake off complacency,” says the Lord. “I am calling you to the front lines.”
Future devastation, violence, and shootings can be prevented when My people pray! Awake, awake My people! “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11).
Hear and respond to the call of your Bridegroom. I’m calling My fearless warriors to the front lines, for indeed, even as the darkness increases, My light and glory shall shine brighter (Isaiah 60:1-3), and I will draw all men unto Me (John 12:32).
Will you answer the call?
Amen Angie Stolba!
Yes. This is what I am hearing as well. I’ve started a Monday Morning at the Altar prayer group on FB to pray for our schools. We need to add churches to that as well. The Lord bless and keep you!
