Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory

Then Israel sang this song: “Spring up, O well!” | Numbers 21:17

There is going to be an explosion of joy in this season. Many have been robbed of their joy, due to ongoing and pressing circumstances, but know that your season has changed! A double portion is being restored to you, even now. The Lord will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten – the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm (Joel 2:25). You will laugh again, you will dance again; for the joy of the lord is your strength (Psalm 28:7). You will testify of the Father’s goodness and faithfulness to you.

“I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations” (Psalm 89:1).

God is healing hearts that have been disappointed; He is restoring joy and hope to you this day. Laughter, joy, and praise will soon erupt as you stand in the faithfulness of your good, good Father. He is moving mountains on your behalf. The Lord is going to overwhelm you with His love and favor, and it will be extravagant.

I believe that people will come into the Kingdom as you testify to what God has done for you. You will see and know the goodness of God in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). Lift your voice; it is a time of jubilee and singing! Begin to praise the Lord in advance for what is about to manifest. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Out of the Ashes My Glory Will Rise

Many are becoming battle weary in this season, as the fire has seemed to be seven times hotter than before. The enemy is seeking to bring condemnation for the times that you have stumbled or made even the smallest mistake. Know there is now no condemnation for those who are in Me, Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). I am not looking at how many times you fall, for I see a warrior, one who gets back up again. You may stumble for a moment, but you dust yourself off and keep moving forward. “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes” (Proverbs 24:16).

My heart is well pleased with you, beloved. I know that the battle has been intense; I understand that you’re tired. Run into My loving arms and find shelter! How I long to comfort you, even as a mother hen comforts her young. The enemy is lying when he tries to tell you, “You’re going backwards and you’re losing ground.” The truth is, you are taking new ground, advancing My kingdom! You are a mighty soldier in training, and these trials and tribulations are preparing you for greatness. Your faith is becoming purified like the gold, and you are being made stronger. You are growing in leaps and bounds, My precious beloved!

You are a forerunner, and forerunners are marked for their greatness. They blaze new trails, even though it is an arduous task to go where no one else has gone before, or do what previous generations have not. Know that your labor of love is not in vain. As you plow ahead through the hard and untilled ground, fighting the battle for those who will one day walk behind you, you are preparing the way for others to reap what you have sown.

Continue to run your race well, keeping your eyes locked on the prize. Stay faithful to My still small voice; follow My leading, even in the seemingly small things. Your efforts are not in vain, for you are moving mountains in My kingdom, bringing light to the darkness. Your season will soon change, and before long, everywhere that had once been desolated will be filled with new life! Behold, I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs (Isaiah 41:18). You will soon see My glory rise from the ashes!

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” | Isaiah 60:1

The Stage is Set For the Sons and Daughters to Be Revealed!

I see a picture of a great and magnificent stage. The director is excitedly buzzing around, putting the last touches into place; the final pieces are being placed together before the grand curtain is drawn. There is a holy hush, and the angels are watching with great longing and anticipation for the sons and daughters of the Most High to be revealed (Romans 8:19).

These dear ones have been through the fire, yet they have kept their hearts pure. Instead of allowing the fire to make them bitter, the sons and daughters have clung even tighter to Jesus, allowing a greater intimacy to be birthed with Him. They have ran to the secret place and have allowed the Lord to minister to their hearts during the extreme trials and testing. The sons and daughters have withstood wagging tongues and persecution, resisting the urge to rise up and defend themselves, or make themselves of no reputation. Instead, they have allowed Jesus to be their Defender. The children of God have turned the other cheek and have chosen to love, rather than hate, when harsh words and false accusations have been hurled in their direction.

God has seen the hearts of His children; He is rising on the scene as a Mighty Warrior. The Lord is roaring over them. He is announcing their recompense and vindication, as the King’s sons and daughters have not sought to make a name for themselves or be elevated on a platform.

The Lord has come to bestow great honor on His humble ones, for they long to simply lay down their lives, sold out as a vessel completely surrendered to Him. God is coming to shower His faithful children with blessings and favor. “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those who live with integrity” (Psalm 84:11). His children have been seeking out and doing the will of the Father, and like Christ, this has become the desire of their hearts (John 4:34).

I hear the Lord saying, “Lights, camera, action,” as He pulls back the curtain and reveals His faithful ones. I see Him putting His royal robes on them and placing crowns upon their heads. The favor, recompense, and approval of the Father is being declared over the children of the Most High God, even in the same areas that the enemy and people on this earth have mocked them. The King of kings is putting His sons and daughters on display as vessels of honor, reflecting the Father’s glory and heart.

The testimony of the Father’s goodness to His children will go forth, even into the nations. It is written, “Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as your possession” (Psalm 2:8). The Lord has seen and is rewarding the pure hearts of His faithful ones, and He is about ready to show up and show out on their behalf!

It’s harvest time, and the sons and daughters will enjoy the fruit of their labor, as God is going to restore all that had once been lost and stolen. Get ready for divine restoration that will be bigger and greater than anything you have ever imagined! As it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

All Things New

I believe that God is doing a deep heart surgery on His people, healing and cleansing the deep wounds of the soul. The Lord is restoring hope deferred as you go deeper with Him and become willing to visit the hard places. As you surrender to Him, the disappointment and the things that you have grappled to understand will be removed from you! You will begin to feel a release of the chains and burdens that have once seemed to weigh you down.f952bba28f6c98c947eedfdc4e4404ca

I sense that Christ is saying to His Bride, “Rest in My goodness. Lay down that which has hurt you and all that you have not been able to understand. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). Break off any agreement with the lies of the enemy that have slipped into your subconscious mind. Shake off the questions that ask, “Is God really good? If He is, why is this happening to me? Will God really come through for me?” These thoughts are from the enemy, as he is trying to throw you off guard and distract you from Me. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10).”

The Lord is a good Father to His children, and all of His ways with you are loving and good. For every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows (James 1:17). The Lord is saying, “Evil does not come from My hand. Repent of wrong thinking and come into agreement with My Word by the renewing your mind. Start declaring My promises over your life in the very places where you have felt the crushing weight of circumstances that the enemy has once taunted you with, for what you have felt is all a smokescreen. In reality, I have placed you in a harness; you are suspended high above your problems. Drop off all the weight that you have felt. Even as the eagle soars above the storm, so it is with you. You are soaring above all of these things with me. See into the spirit; look beyond what you see in the natural. You are the head, not the tail; you are above, not beneath. You are an overcomer, and a new day is truly dawning for you.

You have been feeling this intensity because you are ready to birth something more magnificent than you could ever imagine. Soon you will forget the labor pains and the turmoil, as you lay hold of your awaited promise. As it is written in the scriptures, “A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world” (John 16:21). Through this last stretch and final push, you will finally see joy and praise!

“I am about to show up in your life and truly make all things new. My glory will be put on display through you, and you will look around and no longer see your enemies. As you look from right to the left, you will see my victory and restoration on every front. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you (Deuteronomy 20:4).”

The sun is dawning. This long night of the soul is breaking, and truly a new day has come, so rejoice and receive it by faith. Nothing will be missing, and nothing will be broken. There will be restoration on every front! You will be found singing; joy will explode and praise will erupt, as you will see the goodness of the Lord manifest in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).

Your Tears Will Soon Turn to Joy

I sense that the Lord has been highlighting tears in this season.

Your tears are precious to Him. As it is declared in the Psalms, our God counts our tears and puts them in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy (Psalm 126:5).

The season is shifting, and the Lord is going to turn mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” | Isaiah 61:7

Out of the Wilderness

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love, and his wonderful deeds for mankind. Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders. | Psalm 107:28-32

He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs” (Psalm 107:35). I believe that the Lord is wanting to encourage His people today, saying that His living water is going to flow into the parched and dry places. Do not despise what feels like a wilderness, for God is working through it, and He is preparing you for greatness! Continue to give Him the sacrifice of your praise, trusting that He is truly working all things together for your good, despite what you may currently see or feel in the natural.

In chapter six of 2 Kings, Elisha and his servant had found themselves against an army and chariots. The servant was scared, and asked Elisha, “What shall we do?”

“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha (2 Kings 6:15-17). In a similar way, I feel that the Lord is wanting you to see in the spirit realm that there is, indeed, more that is for you than that which is against you. You are an overcomer, and you are coming to the other side of these trails and tribulations.

In the same way that the Lord brought Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego out of Nebuchadnezzar’s furnace, He will also bring you out of this fire, and you will not smell of smoke (Daniel 3:27).

Just as the Lord brought Joseph out of the prison and into the palace, the Lord has also been preparing you during the hardness for something greater. You will see all things work together for your good. You are the apple of His eye; you are the Lord’s great delight. Refuse to allow your heart to become hardened, nor agree with the lies of the enemy that will seek to tell you that you’ve “missed it.” After Joseph was tested, he was brought to the palace and received great honor. Even in what has felt like set backs, your experiences have truly been a divine set up to launch you into your calling and destiny.

Keep pressing forward. God is at work in your situation, and you will be found coming out of the wilderness, leaning on your Beloved (Song of Solomon 8:5).

New Wineskins

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. | John 12:24

It is easy to feel vulnerable and raw during seasons of change and transition. However, do not look at your vulnerability and your need for Me as a weakness, but rather as a strength. The stretching that you feel is not to be feared, for you are about to give birth. Yes, for I am creating a holy hunger inside of you, revealing to you that I am the One who can truly satisfy. In this season, I will show you that what used to bring you comfort will no longer satisfy.

I am inviting you to go deeper with Me; I am calling you to run straight into My loving arms. When you are feeling alone, confused, or uncertain, I am the Solid Rock – your All Sufficient One. I alone can comfort and soothe your aching heart, unlike the temporary things in life that can easily distract you from Me. I say to you, embrace the discomfort; do not try to cover up or hide your pain from Me.

I am expanding and increasing you for the new that I will pour into you, as I am creating new wineskins. (Matthew 9:17).  Remember, dear one, My hand is always at work in your life, shaping and molding you into all that I desire you to be.  Keep pursuing Me. Keep seeking after My heart, beloved, even in the seemingly dry times. I see the end from the beginning, even when you do not. My plans and purposes for your life are always good. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).

Even in what feels like death, I will soon give ways to new life. I have great surprises and unexpected favor right around the bend! Do not get weary in well doing, for you are about to reap a great harvest. Even with all of the unexpected twists and turns that come along with the journey, I urge you to keep pressing forward. For momentary, light affliction is producing for you an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison (2 Corinthians 4:17).
