I’m Working for Your Good!

“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.”

Genesis 50:20

The Lord says, “My child, I see the injustices that you have experienced at the hands of others, and know this: what they intended for your harm, I will use it for your good (Genesis 50:20)! You have continued to praise Me in the midst of adversity, so take heart and know that I am arising. I will contend with those who have been warring against you, you only need to be still.

“But this is what the Lord says: ‘Yes, captives will be taken from warriors,
and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.'”

Isaiah 49:25

“Beloved, refuse to take matters into your own hands. Rather than seeking to defend yourself, continue to trust in Me.

“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…”

Isaiah 30:15

“I have not been blind to the tears that you have cried nor have I been deaf to your prayers and petitions. I am moving on your behalf. If you ask for bread, I will never give you a stone (Matthew 7:9).

“I will give you double for all the heartache that you have endured. I am restoring honor to your name and removing the reproach. I’m correcting the wrongs and bringing justice to the areas where you have been falsely accused. Be assured that I’m working for your good!”

“‘Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt, your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy go on forever. Because I, God, love fair dealing and hate thievery and crime, I’ll pay your wages on time and in full, and establish my eternal covenant with you.'”

Isaiah 61:7-8 (MSG)
